E1 and Groove Culture proudly welcome a true originator of electronic music to our Warehouse on 18 May. The Founding Father of House, Lil' Louis is best known for the ethereal classic 'French Kiss' and is also credited with throwing the world's first ever rave back in 1977.

The Chicago-born selector, producer and house music pioneer has ‘broken’ more records than any other Chicago DJ and pioneered funk and disco ‘Edits’ in the 70s that planted the seed of House Music. In ‘87, Lil Louis released one of the most important House records of all time, ‘French Kiss’ which topped charts around the world and sold over 6 million copies, making Louis the ‘Top Selling Dance Artist’ in history.

Joining Louis is Groove Culture founders and residents Micky More & Andy Tee who have a solid back catalogue featuring remixes for Joey Negro, Miguel Migs, Jocelyn Brown and Barbara Tucker amongst others.

This is a rare opportunity to see Lil Louis up close and personal in London’ leading Warehouse space.
