Lil' Louis

E1 proudly welcomes a true originator of electronic music to our Warehouse on the 31st August. The Founding Father of House, Lil' Louis is best known for the ethereal classic 'French Kiss' and is also credited with throwing the world's first ever rave back in 1977.

The Chicago-born selector, producer and house music pioneer has ‘broken’ more records than any other Chicago DJ and pioneered funk and disco ‘Edits’ in the 70s that planted the seed of House Music. In ‘87, Lil Louis released one of the most important House records of all time, ‘French Kiss’ which topped charts around the world and sold over 6 million copies, making Louis the ‘Top Selling Dance Artist’ in history.

This is a rare opportunity to see Lil' Louis up close and personal in London’ leading Warehouse space.

Guinny, the London-based DJ, producer, and singer, infuses her sets with a diverse blend of House, Disco, and Techno, drawing from her classical violin training and singer-songwriter background. Raised on 70s Disco and Funk&Soul, and with a solid reputation in London, she's opened for esteemed artists and graced iconic venues like The Jazz Cafe and Ministry Of Sound.
