The inimitable Kompakt is celebrating 30 years in existence with a special party here at E1.
Kompakt started life in the early 90s when Wolfgang Voigt founded the legendary record store in Cologne. In 1998, Michael Mayer, Wolfgang Voigt and Jurgen Paape launched an imprint int the same name and quickly developed its signature sound - it quickly became known as the ’Sound of Cologne’.
Heading up the bill is head honcho Michael Mayer, an artist that has been releasing since 1995 and pushing the sound of Kompakt, being a leading pillar of the German electronic music scene.
Joining him is fellow label mate Robag Wruhme who has a career spanning 2 decades and a completely unique sound which touches on minimal and intricate sound scapes.
Lastly we have fresh talent from the Kompakt family with AMSL, a DJ based in Cologne. Since her DJ debut in 2018 her sound moves between percussionist electronic beats, house and techno music.
Come and celebrate this milestone of one of Germany's biggest and most influential label in dance music!

Admission 18+ only. Valid physical photo ID is required - no exceptions! Passports Full and Provisional Driving Licences, ID cards, Citizen cards are accepted - No BRP cards or e-visas.
